MSCI currently does not intend to pay any dividends as it intends to retain all available funds for use in the operation and expansion of its business, including growth through acquisitions, the repayment of its debt and the repurchase of its common stock. The payment of any future dividends will be determined by the Board of Directors in light of conditions then existing, including MSCI's earnings, financial condition and capital requirements, business conditions, corporate law requirements and other factors.

The Company's fiscal year end is December 31.
